Two-day seminars run from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on the first day; the second day concludes at 3:30 pm. The hours for one-day seminars are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. All courses are conducted in a group-live setting. Please Note: Any exteneded absences from a program may result in reduced CPE credits earned.
Q: What do course fees cover?
A: Fees cover admission, course materials, refreshments, and a hospitality reception. Fees are payable in advance by cash, company check (US dollars), VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diners Club. Please add $100 if you register 5 business days or less before the session start date.
Q: What is normal attire at MIS programs?
A: Business casual. Because of the range in temperatures of hotel climate control systems, however, we do suggest that you dress in layers to accommodate your own comfort level.
Q: Are instructors available after sessions to answer questions?
A: MIS instructors are very willing to share ideas and answer your questions at the end of a seminar or conference session. In addition, instructors provide contact information during class so you can reach them should you have questions once you return to your job. If your instructor has neglected to provide you with his or her information, please let us know and we will put the instructor in touch with you.
Q: What happens if I cannot attend a program I have registered for?
A: A full refund less a $100 administrative fee will be given for cancellations received 15 days or more before the event. Tuition is non-refundable for cancellations made 14 days or less before the event. You may, however, transfer your tuition to another MIS Training Institute event, less a $195 administrative fee. Transfers are valid for 12 months from the time of initial cancellation. Substitutions are welcome at any time. Those who do not cancel before the event date and who do not attend are responsible for the full non-refundable, non-transferable tuition. To cancel, call customer service at 508-879-7999, Ext. 501.
Q: What happens if MIS relocates or cancels a program?
A: MIS makes every effort to run its programs as advertised. On occasion, it may be necessary to relocate or cancel a session. We will notify you of a cancellation no later than two weeks before the program start date. MIS Training Institute will not be responsible for penalties incurred as a result of discount hotel reservations or nonrefundable airfare purchases.
Q: Are team discounts available?
A: Seminars: If 3 people register for the same seminar on the same date, each saves 10% off the seminar fee. All registrations must be made at the same time and paid for together. Team discounts do not apply to already discounted seminars. Attend consecutive seminars in the same week and save 10% off both seminars.
Conferences: Please call customer service at 508-879-7999 for more information regarding conference discounts.
